The San Francisco Giants Baseball Park
(formerly PacBell Stadium)

San Francisco, CA

Kajima was selected as the developer and builder for the new San Francisco Giants Baseball Park. Kajima and the San Francisco Giants formed an alliance unique in the development of major league sports facilities. Kajima, serving as the project developer, was responsible for the performance of all work required to design, budget, construct and coordinate the ballpark. In addition, Kajima delivered on-time, on-budget completion. This unique package of services permitted the Giants to achieve schedule and cost targets that otherwise would have been unattainable.

The 900,000 sf ballpark included 41,000 seats and 67 luxury suites. While retaining standard amenities of most new ballparks, the Giants’ home sets itself apart with many added modern and classic features.
