General Contracting Services for an upgrade of a 12,000 sf existing 24/7 operational Data Center. Construction Team was responsible for the development and execution of the Methods of Procedure (MOPs) in collaboration with the Client, Design Consultants, Subcontractors, and Key Personnel to ensure minimal disruption/impact to the Client’s operations. Secured mechanical and electrical equipment for backup purposes, and implemented contingency measures to ensure continuous operations for 64 shut downs and/or cut-overs. Managed and oversaw the site access requirements into the High Security Building, the coordination and site management of the daily construction activities, continual coordination with the Building Manager to ensure minimal disruption to adjacent tenant’s operations, deliveries and manpower access into the Building. Project included the demolition of an existing and installation of a new cooling tower, installation of (2) new 150 kva UPS Systems, installation of a new HVAC System/CRAC Units, and an Emergency Generator, while maintaining the Data Center in full operation throughout construction.
