Elmond is responsible for the overall strategic management and business operations of all projects in the Western United States.  Elmond was instrumental in the construction of projects such as Disney Grand Central Creative Campus, the 705 W. Ninth Street (renamed: WaterMarke Luxury Apartments), a 35-story high-rise residential tower in Downtown Los Angeles, and The Westin Anaheim Resort.  Under his leadership, KCS West will continue to expand and provide first class, high quality construction services for their valued clients.

Prior to joining Kajima in 2005, Elmond was the Vice President/Division Manager for Turner Construction Company.  Throughout his 23 years with Turner, he was responsible for numerous iconic hi-rises and specialty buildings in Downtown LA and throughout Southern California. He was involved in projects such as the US Bank Tower, The Gas Company Tower, Biltmore Tower, Burbank Center and Art Center College of Design just to name a few.

Elmond holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from University of Washington, Seattle and a Masters in Business Administration in Marketing from California State University, Los Angeles.
